i’move Updates
October 11, 2021 Update: i’move Mask Policy update
The ongoing i’move policy will be to continue asking all physical therapy clients who are inside our buildings to wear masks whether they have been vaccinated or not. All i’move employees are required to wear masks while inside.
We are a healthcare company; in the State of Michigan, this means that we must follow MIOSHA rules that apply to workplace health. As of today, MIOSHA has not changed their guidelines from May 2021, which extended the existing mask mandate for healthcare facilities. If and when MIOSHA issues another update, we will review and change our policy to match their requirements and update our patients as soon as possible.
Therefore, we do ask that you continue to wear a mask to your physical therapy appointments until further notice. We will update you if and when there are any revisions to our policy. If you have any questions about the above policy, please call us at 616-847-1280 or email info@imovedaily.com.

All i’move employees are required to wear masks while inside. While the new guidance that goes into effect tomorrow from the Michigan government has determined that no one – vaccinated or unvaccinated people – need to wear masks inside, a determination has not yet been made as to whether this applies to healthcare settings.

May 17, 2021 Update: i’move Mask Policy update
The i’move policy for the upcoming weeks will be to continue asking all physical therapy clients who are inside our buildings to wear masks whether they have been vaccinated or not. All i’move employees are required to wear masks while inside. While the new guidance that went into effect over the weekend from the CDC and Michigan government have determined that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks inside, it does not fully apply to healthcare settings.
We are a healthcare company; therefore our physical therapy practice is excluded from the new Michigan guidelines. Additionally, we still have some patients who cannot be vaccinated and are immune compromised. We will continue to try to protect them as much as we are able.
Therefore, we do ask that you continue to wear a mask to your physical therapy appointments until further notice. We will update you if and when there are any revisions to our policy. If you have any questions about the above policy, please call us at 616-847-1280 or email info@imovedaily.com.
Fully vaccinated FIT participants will no longer be required to wear a face mask while in the gym space, per the guidance from the CDC and Michigan government. Face masks will still be required while in the physical therapy area, which includes the entryway, waiting room and bathrooms. Social distancing, capacity restrictions, and cleaning procedures will continue to be followed.

June 2, 2020 Update: FIT Classes Available
FIT crew, we are excited to announce that under the latest executive order we are now allowed to offer outdoor workout classes! As you know we are set up wonderfully for this with an outdoor track and large covered patio area. We are excited for the opportunity to once again provide you with fun and effective workouts in a safe environment.
Social distancing will still be followed, equipment will not be shared throughout the workout, and all equipment will be thoroughly sanitized after use. In addition, please bring your own water bottle as our drinking fountains have been turned off per CDC guidelines. FIT members will only be allowed to enter the building for ‘urgent’ use of the bathroom and be required to wear a mask if indoors. Mask use is certainly allowed during outdoor workouts, but is not mandatory.
We know many of you have been missing your workouts, and we are excited to get started right away! Thus, we are creating a short-term schedule for the rest of this week. As we continue to gain further insight we will create a more permanent schedule. Stay tuned for updates on a permanent schedule.
All classes will be approximately 45 minutes long and subject to cancellation in the case of inclement weather. Cancellations will be communicated through our Facebook page.
We understand that outdoor workouts may not meet the same expectation as our normal offerings. As a result, all memberships will be only $50 for the month of June!
We look forward to helping you reach your fitness goals!
Telehealth COVID-19 Update
The governor’s Stay Home order has been extended to June 12th. We are open and providing physical therapy. Remote Telehealth services are available to all. In-person care is limited to those who need it most and are free from COVID-19 symptoms or known exposure.
We have been following all CDC guidelines by limiting in-person visits, wearing masks, upping our sanitary measures, and conducting social distancing while in the clinic. Staff members that can work from home will continue to do so. Pre-visit phone and entry point screening will also continue to maximize the health and safety of our patients and staff.
In the meantime, as a provider of essential health care services, we will continue one-on-one treatment for our patients with recent surgeries, with severe pain or those not progressing via virtual visits. Phone call screening will determine the candidacy for virtual visits.
More updates will be posted as they occur. Thank you for your support, and we wish you all the best of health and security for you and your loved ones.
