Physical Therapist, Women’s Health Specialist
i’move-North Muskegon

Anna Ockaskis, DPT, earned her Bachelor of Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Michigan–Flint. With clinical interests in pelvic floor and sports rehabilitation, Anna enjoys helping people move past limitations and return to the activities that make life feel full and meaningful.

Movement has always been central to who Anna is. From weight training and running to yoga, hiking, waterskiing, and wakeboarding, staying active has shaped her perspective as both an athlete and a clinician. That personal relationship with movement fuels her approach to care—one that values listening, encouragement, and thoughtful progression. Anna believes physical therapy is most effective when it’s personal, collaborative, and rooted in trust.

Anna chose i’m advocating as her i’m statement because she is deeply committed to standing alongside her patients through every stage of their journey. She helps people reconnect with strength and resilience that can feel lost through pain or fear, guiding them toward more confident movement and meaningful progress. Through individualized care and steady support, Anna works to remove barriers, restore function, and empower each person to take ownership of their recovery.

Outside the clinic, Anna continues to live the active lifestyle she encourages in her patients. She enjoys staying busy with workouts, outdoor adventures, and water sports, as well as spending time with family and friends. When she’s not on the move, you’ll often find her in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and sharing good food with the people she loves.
