Dean Millar PT
i‘m believing
Physical Therapist
i’move-Cove, i’move-Downtown Muskegon
Dean was born and grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. He attended the University of the Western Cape where he received his degree in physical therapy. Dean moved to the United States in 1994 and began working at Hackley Hospital’s Sports Medicine Clinic. He was also roommate to i’move Athletic Trainer, Mike Braid. Dean has been blessed to be involved in opening three outpatient physical therapy clinics in West Michigan. He has lived in the Muskegon area for over 28 years and has an excellent rapport with patients and physicians alike.
Dean is very patient-focused and loves a challenge. When it comes to patient care, he addresses each patient as a whole and enjoys trying to determine underlying drivers that could be causing dysfunction. Dean cherishes the idea of working side by side with all of his patients and believes that together as a team they can achieve the desired goals. He enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic dysfunctions, specifically the shoulder, knee, neck, and back.
Dean met his wife Gale while working at Hackley Hospital. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys worshiping at church, camping, outdoor activities, and fishing.
Dean’s i’m statement reads “i’m believing” because he believes his patients have as big of an impact on his life as he has on theirs.
