Athletic Trainer
i’move-Grand Haven
Heather was born and raised in McHenry, Illinois and moved to Michigan when she was in high school. She grew up in a family that watched Chicago sport and she is a big Bears and Cubs fab. She has participated in sports her entire life, including basketball, track and gymnastics. High school sports injuries led her to want to study Athletic Training. She attended Grand Valley State University, and graduated in 1999 with a BS in Movement Science with an emphasis on Athletic Training and Fitness & Wellness.
Heather brings more that 20 years of experience working in sports medicine in West Michigan to our Athletic Training program at the Grand Haven High School.
In her free time, Heather enjoys watching sports, reading, traveling and biking. She lives in Grand Haven with her husband of 20 years and 3 children.
The back of Heather’s business card reads, “i’m striving” because, as she puts it, “I’m striving to provide quality medical care to student-athletes and I am dedicated to providing a safe athletic environment for athletes to participate and thrive in.”
