i’move-Cove
Katelyn grew up in the small town of Cadillac, MI. She pursued her passion for clinical exercise science by attending Grand Valley State University, where she earned her degree. Her educational journey continued as she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Grand Valley State University.
Katelyn’s love for physical therapy stems from her personal experiences as a patient dealing with multiple sports-related injuries during her time as a high school athlete. It was through these encounters that she grew fascinated by the holistic approach of physical therapy as a profession, focusing on treating the individual as a whole. Driven to help others, Katelyn uses the same holistic approach of treating the whole person and takes great joy in working with patients of all ages, providing support and guidance throughout their recovery process.
Growing up playing soccer and participating in cross country, she has always loved sports and being active. Katelyn continues to embrace that lifestyle and enjoys CrossFit and hiking. She loves trying new restaurants and coffee shops and is always on the hunt for new and exciting culinary experiences.
Katelyn chose “i’m fostering” as her i’m statement. This phrase captures Katelyn’s dedication to building meaningful relationships with her patients. She believes in working alongside them, fostering an environment of trust and understanding during their recovery journey. Katelyn strives to empower her patients with knowledge and independence so they can understand their diagnosis and learn how to prevent future occurrences.
