Lindsay Starks, PT, DPT
Lindsay grew up in Onekama, MI and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from North Park University in Chicago, where she also ran collegiate cross country. After moving back to West Michigan, she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. She now lives with her husband in Holland, MI.
Beyond her passion for movement and the human body, what drew her to the field of physical therapy was the ability to build relationships and be a source of support and empowerment for her patients. When she’s not logging miles in her running shoes, she enjoys snowboarding in the mountains, hiking national parks, and road biking. Although she loves working with the running population, she has a heart for a variety of orthopedic diagnoses.
Lindsay also specializes in Women’s Health rehabilitation, where she treats a variety of diagnoses including urinary incontinence, pregnancy related dysfunction or pain, and female athlete pelvic floor dysfunction. She believes all women should be equipped with their own set of unique “tools” that allow them to return to full activity without restriction.
The back of Lindsay’s business card says “i’m supporting” because Lindsay strives to be an avenue of support for her patients as they return towards optimal function.
