Physical Therapist
i’move-Cove

Originally from New York, Michelle grew up in Grand Rapids. She received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Calvin University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. Throughout her time at both universities, Michelle actively participated in the cross country and track & field teams, furthering her experience as a collegiate athlete for a remarkable six years.

Driven by her passion for sports, Michelle ventured into the field of physical therapy, finding immense joy in working closely with patients from diverse backgrounds. Her ultimate goal is to assist them in reaching their milestones and accomplishing their aspirations, whether they are athletes or individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction.

During her free time, Michelle finds  in an array of activities. She enjoys running, reading, appreciating music and audiobooks, engaging in handicrafts such as crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitching, as well as exploring the great outdoors through hiking and kayaking. You can also find her sampling new dishes from around the world.

Michelle chose “i’m grateful” as her i’m statement. It stems from the endless gratitude she feels toward her patients and their willingness to involve her in their healing journeys. She views every treatment session as an opportunity for growth and learning, recognizing that both her patients and herself can benefit and thrive through this therapeutic partnership.
