Wayne, a native of Gallup, New Mexico has called Michigan home since 1999. He graduated from the Baker College Physical Therapy Assistant Program in 2008. His thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there, Wayne also received a Master of Human Movement and a Doctorate of Health Science from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. Additionally, Wayne is a Master Trainer for Matter of Balance, a program designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels in older adults.
Wayne is a people person who revels in getting to know his patients and understanding their unique health challenges. He particularly enjoys treating ankle conditions and is passionate about fall prevention. His love for people makes connecting with his patients easy, making their care and improvement his utmost priority. He also thrives in problem-solving and devising unique strategies that best benefit each patient’s recovery.
Wayne and his wife met while working at Hackley Hospital. They have 11-year-old twin boys. Wayne enjoys spending time with his family having bonfires, camping, and cooking pasta dishes. Wayne loves salmon and steelhead fishing. He also has a knack for grilling and smoking meat and brewing beer at home.
Wayne chose “i’m supporting” as his i’m statement because he is dedicated to standing alongside his patients providing the necessary support to help them reach their health goals, big or small.
