With January being the start of a new year and many people making resolutions for themselves, it is always a great time to remember to strive for our own physical health and wellness. i’move has options in place to help you along your journey to better health and wellness.
Wellness assessments: Now is the perfect time to schedule a Wellness Assessment to find your starting point for the year and help you establish your goals! A Wellness Assessment is an evaluation of someone’s physical well-being. It is not necessarily correlated with a specific ailment or condition. Our physical therapist will measure your flexibility, strength, balance, and cardiorespiratory fitness and help develop a personalized game plan for you.
Pain assessments: If you have pain holding you back but are unsure if therapy is a good option for you, we offer Pain Assessments with one of our physical therapists. You can meet with one of our therapists, discuss your current state, and go through a movement screen to determine what your next steps should be (schedule PT if appropriate, contact your physician, etc) as well as get general advice on what you can do to try and help.
Women’s health assessment: If you have been dealing with leaking, pain with intercourse, heaviness, pregnancy or postpartum issues, there is no time like the present to get in control! Our women’s health team is a group of specially trained physical therapists who are passionate about helping women achieve their goals. They offer FREE 10-minute phone consultations as well as 30-minute in-person assessments to discuss what options you have and help you start your journey.
Fitness class trials: i’move FIT is an affordable alternative to the run-of-the-mill, expensive health clubs. We offer a unique, personal setting in a friendly, welcoming environment. Try any of our 4 unique adult classes scheduled 27 times throughout the week. These classes vary in intensity and are led by our experienced, certified trainer. Not sure what class is right for you? Personal training: Our trainers can help you reach your fitness goals in one-on-one settings for all ages and fitness levels. In January, we are offering a FREE 45-minute personal training session for new participants. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule.
Precision Nutrition: Are you ready to live healthier, lose, weight, and feel better long term? Precision nutrition is a 12-week program designed to help you meet these health goals led by our coach Samantha van der Lende. This program provides step-by-step guidance on how to develop healthy habits via 4 in-person (or zoom) individual meetings to help you set and reach your health goals.
